(August 23, 2016 Nashville, TN) The SOURCE Hall of Fame honored six new inductees last night during its 14th Annual event at The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum at the Historic Municipal Auditorium.  SOURCE, a non-profit organization supporting women executives and professionals working in all facets of Nashville’s music industry also celebrated its 25Year Anniversary. Brenda Lee and Jeannie Seely hosted the evening as they have done together for most of the 14 years of the annual celebration. The 2016 SOURCE Hall of Fame Inductees are Alison Booth, MTM Music Group, RCA Records, Sony Music Nashville; Tammy Brown, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Sony Music, olé Songs; Diane Cash, WLAC Radio, MCA Records, John Conlee Enterprises; Nancy Jones, George Jones Management, George Jones Museum; Callie Khouri,Director, Academy Award Winning Screenwriter, Creator/Executive Producer “Nashville” Television Show; and Gail Pollock (posthumously), Monument Studios, We Make Tapes.

Charles Esten, star of TV show “Nashville” (CMT), was on hand to present Callie Khouri personally with her SOURCE Hall of Fame Award, and RCA Records Nashville Artist Chris Young presented the honor to Alison Booth. The sold-out crowd, made up of mostly Nashville’s industry movers and shakers, viewed video congratulations from actor/recording artist Kiefer Sutherland who generously gave a shout-out to all SOURCE Hall of Fame inductees. Little Big Town congratulated Tammy Brown; John Conlee praised Diane Cash; Montgomery Gentry tipped theirhats to Nancy Jones; and Roger Hamlett shared a video congratulation for inductee Gail Pollock (posthumous).

In 2003, the annual SOURCE Awards eventnow known as the SOURCE Hall of Fame Awards was established to pay respect to and honor the women who helped develop and build upon the foundation of the music industry in Nashville. SOURCE also pays tribute to women who presently make major contributions with their work in the industry.
