REVOLVER Magazine Drops New Special Collector’s Limited Edition DETHKLOK Collection

In Celebration of Animated Cult Metallic Icons DETHKLOK’s Forthcoming Releases Dethalbum IV, Original Motion Picture and Soundtrack, Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar and The Babyklok Tour with BABYMETAL!

Revolver’s new special collector’s issue tells the story of the biggest and most brutal band in the world, Dethklok. In the universe of Metalocalypse — Adult Swim’s celebrated animated series that followed the misadventures of this fictional death-metal band — Dethklok reign supreme. The band — Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Toki Wartooth, William Murderface and Pickles — are so influential that billions of loyal fans willingly risk death to attend their live performances, and Dethklok’s cultural and economic impact is so massive that they’re closely monitored by an Illuminati-esque council. In our realm — as well as within the fictional world of Metalocalypse — 2023 is going to be the band’s biggest year yet with Dethalbum IV,  Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar feature film and a North American tour.

Revolver’s new special collector’s issue celebrates Dethklok’s triumphant return. Featuring new in-depth interviews with Metalocalypse co-creator and Dethklok musical mastermind Brendon Small, along with key musical and creative collaborators, this special issue tells the full behind-the-scenes story of this animated group: from its creation, development and evolution through the Metalocalypse series and films, live performances and beyond.

The 100-page deluxe magazine also includes commentary from famous fans including King Diamond, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, Cannibal Corpse’s George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher and more. Thicker than a standard issue of Revolver, the collectible magazine features embossed type and UV coating on its cover, as well as all-access shots throughout.

The Dethklok special issue comes with five alternate covers, a band illustrated cover by Songgu Kwon and one for each of the band’s albums: The Dethalbum, Dethalbum II, Dethalbum III and Dethalbum IV. The issue is limited to 666 of each cover.

In addition, Revolver has various bundles of exclusive and limited-edition vinyl variants, CDs, tees and more. Order yours today! https://shop.revolvermag.com/collections/dethklok
