REVIEW – Swedish hard rock revivalists CRAZY LIXX are gearing up to unleash their electrifying new album, Thrill of the Bite, on February 14th via Frontiers Records. Known for their anthemic choruses, blistering guitar work, and throwback glam metal swagger, the band delivers yet another high-octane collection of fist-pumping rock anthems that embody the spirit of the ‘80s while keeping their sound fresh and exciting.

The album roars to life with “Highway Hurricane”, a full-throttle opener packed with thumping bass, pounding drums, and screaming guitars, setting the tone for what’s to come. “Who Said Rock N’ Roll Is Dead” is a defiant anthem that commands the listener to sway, groove, and sing along, with a chorus that refuses to be ignored. “Little Miss Dangerous” is an infectious track that burrows into your brain, lingering long after the music stops.

With “Call of the Wild”, CRAZY LIXX unleash searing leads and relentless rhythms, backing their signature high-energy vocals. “Recipe for Revolution” is a hard-hitting track that begs for air guitar solos and raised fists, while “Run Run Wild” delivers the perfect soundtrack for a road trip down the open highway, windows down, volume cranked to the max.

“Midnight Rebels” is tailor-made for the live stage, destined to ignite audiences into a frenzy. The nostalgia-soaked “Hunt for Danger” throws it back to the golden era of glam rock, echoing the days of leather jackets, neon lights, and hairspray-fueled mayhem. “Final Warning” and “Stick It Out” close out the album with massive choruses, relentless hooks, and that unmistakable CRAZY LIXX energy that keeps the party going long into the night.

With Thrill of the Bite, CRAZY LIXX prove once again why they are among the leading torchbearers of modern glam rock, delivering a record that feels like it was plucked straight from a time when rock ruled the airwaves. This is a must-listen for fans of arena rock anthems, blistering guitar solos, and high-energy, feel-good rock ‘n’ roll.
