In celebration of 25 years as a band, The Used have set out on an incredible stretch of shows to celebrate this milestone. A select few cities get to experience a 3-night extravaganza as the band plays a different album per night. I was lucky enough to catch the third and final show in Dallas as the band played Lies for the Liars. Joined by Dallas-natives moonstone., the night was truly something spectacular.

Moonstone. started the night off on a high note as they delivered their signature sound of sad-pop. The crowd was loving every second of the band’s performance and it showed as the set progressed, all you could see was a sea of fans having the time of their life especially when the band invited a fan on stage to deliver an incredible cover of “Misery Business”. This has not been my first time seeing moonstone. live, and I truly hope that I am able to see them again as soon as possible.

In what seemed like a sold-out crowd with fans of all ages, it was finally time for The Used to take the stage. Getting to hear songs that I grew up listening to, like “The Bird and the Worm”, brought quite the smile to my face. With 25 years in the industry, it is no wonder how The Used have been able to gather over 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone with each of their top 10 songs having tens of millions of streams. Each and every moment of the band’s set continued to showcase the massive talent of the band and I am beyond honored I was able to experience this moment. If you missed out, I don’t know what else to say besides you missed one of the most incredible shows of the year.
