The song begins with a haunting female voice before segueing into Diedrich Donald Weiss’s heavy and thought provoking lyrics. “Ruby” is a compelling piece that helps victims find their strength from a dark place.
The Minneapollis-born artist tackles difficult subjects in a profound, eye opening sentiment drawing the listener in for a glimpse into this psyche. “Ruby” will appeal to fans of Radiohead, Mark Lanegan, Bob Mould and Queens of the Stone Age.
