Coming straight out of South East London, rising multi-genre, multifaceted producer TroyBoi goes against the grain when it comes to his music. Since skyrocketing onto the scene in 2013, TroyBoi, née Troy Henry, left his distinguished mark on the music world on the strength of his unique original productions which blend multicultural influences and hip-hop finesse built atop versatile, hook-laced, trap-infused beats as heard on his 2017 debut album Left Is Right. This spring, rising sensation Billie Eilish tapped TroyBoi for a special remix of “My Boi.” Fans were treated to a surprise recently, when, during his second appearance at Coachella, TroyBoi released a new six-track EP V!BEZ via T dot Music.
“I’ve been exploring and creating various types of tracks, all with different V!BEZ to them,” says TroyBoi. “Since I ended up making so many different tracks, I struggled choosing which song I wanted to release first, so instead of trickling songs out one by one, I thought it made sense for me to release a few all at once.” TroyBoi adds:”V!BEZ for everyone. ‘Sunset In Costa Rica’ was made on my hotel balcony in Costa Rica overlooking one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. ‘Wickedest Bounce’–I love music from the 80’s (I’m an 80’s baby ) and wanted to put my spin on that era’s sound with a combination of elements. ‘HEY BO!’ & ‘No Games’ are for the bass heads. ‘Spooky’ feat my boy David Stewart is a song that we’ve both been dying to release for ages. Sexy V!BEZ. In a nutshell, I hope everyone enjoys all the eclectic V!BEZ on this ep. Much love.”

About TroyBoi:
South East London-born multi-genre, multifaceted producer TroyBoi has left his mark on the music world on the strength of his unique original productions, which blend multicultural influences and hip-hop finesse atop versatile, hook-laced, trap-infused beats. In the summer of 2017, he flipped the script with the release of Left Is Right, his debut album via T dot Music. The 20-track album explored diverse global sounds, from the swaggering album opener “B.I.A,” dubbed a “certified banger” by Complex.com, to power single “What You Know.” Left Is Right also featured “KINJABANG,” recently used by America’s Best Dance Crew performers the Kinjaz; the aggressive “Look at Me,” a massive collaboration with internationally celebrated rapper/actor and West Coast gangsta rap pioneer Ice Cube; and standout track “Interlude – Jammin Sessions,” a collaboration with Jim Beanz, a protégé of super producer Timbaland. Elsewhere, TroyBoi has released music on the seminal imprints Fool’s Gold Records and Mad Decent, including “Afterhours,” a collaboration with Nina Sky and Grammy Award-winning, international producer Diplo. Additionally, his extensive discography includes: collaborations with Flosstradamus, DJ Craze and Grandtheft; remixes for Missy Elliott and Tinie Tempah; and original music for the Star Wars-inspired Star Wars Headspace compilation album. Distinguished as one of Billboard Dance‘s Artists to Watch in 2017 and recognized in BBC Radio 1’s Future Stars series by tastemaker Annie Nightingale, TroyBoi has also performed high-profile sets at Fuji Rock Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Miami Music Week, HOLY SHIP!, Sónar, Life in Color and more. This April he made his Coachella festival debut and released the V!BEZ EP. His material to date garners almost one million Spotify plays per month.
