Bostonâs MIRACLE BLOOD today issues a new live EP/video set, Live At New Alliance Audio, now playing everywhere on the anniversary of their second LP, Hello Hell, released on Nefarious Industries last year.
Hello Hell showcased MIRACLE BLOOD stepping up their game in every way, slamming the listener with ten ripping tracks in under thirty-two minutes, with a sound meaner, heavier, and noisier than its predecessor. The record was produced with Alex Allinson at The Bridge Sound & Stage (BEDTIMEMAGIC, The Freqs, Lesotho), mastered by Brad Boatright (The Armed, Sleep, Nails), and features guests from Sapling and BEDTIMEMAGIC supplying gang vocals
Having toured on the album heavily for a year, MIRACLE BLOOD celebrates the recordâs release with Live At New Alliance Audio, a seven-song multi-tracked live video and EP, recorded at New Alliance Audio in Somerville, Massachusetts in December 2023, just after the completion of Hello Hell. The Live At New Alliance Audio EP was recorded and mixed by Ethan Dusault at New Alliance Audio, mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and completed with cover art by Francisco Ramirez, and the video was filmed by Kristi Xhelili.
Guitarist/vocalist Andrew Wong states, âThis EP and video is kind of like a time-capsule for the band and a thank you to our fans. Itâs from the New Alliance Holiday Party back in 2023. There are no edits or punch-ins or anything like that. Itâs just the straight, one-take performance, mistakes and all. We had just wrapped up the mastering for Hello Hell and were just super stoked about the songs and the album. We felt like we had really discovered our sound and weâre so eager to share it, so we decided to play mostly that material, even though it wasnât out yet. It took another year for the album to come out and weâre so grateful that Nefarious Industries took a chance on us, put it out, and that it got the reception that it did. In the year since its release, weâve had a blast playing these songs live, meeting so many amazing people, and playing with bands weâve long admired. We decided to put out the live session right around the one-year anniversary of Hello Hellâs release as a thank you.â
