One of CMT’s “Next Women of Country,” Country star and Georgia native Lauren Alaina first captured America’s hearts when she appeared on Season 10 of “American Idol.” Lauren has been nominated for several Teen Choice Awards and CMT Music Awards, the singer/songwriter won the ACM Award for “New Female Vocalist of the Year” and is nominated this year for three CMT Music Awards including “Breakthrough Video of the Year,” “Female Video of the Year,” and “Social Superstar.”
For her current album Road Less Traveled Lauren teamed with the award-winning busbee (Lady Antebellum, Maren Morris, Keith Urban) to produce. Road Less Traveled (Mercury Nashville/19/Interscope Records) marks the follow-up to her No. 1 debut album Wildflower. The 12 songs on Road Less Traveled were all co-written by the young star, including Lauren’s first No. 1 hit, the title track “Road Less Traveled.”
Lauren has shared the stage with superstars including Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood. This summer, Lauren hits the road with Luke Bryan and Brett Eldredge for select “Huntin’, Fishin’, And Lovin’ Every Day Tour” dates.
