REVIEW – Melodic rock powerhouse SUNSTORM returns with their electrifying new album ‘Restless Fight’, set for release November 22, 2024 via Frontiers Music Srl. Now three albums deep with the legendary Ronnie Romero at the helm, the band continues to evolve, embracing a heavier, more dynamic sound while holding firm to their AOR roots.

‘Restless Fight’ opens with “I’ll Stand For You”, a heartfelt anthem that lets the emotion wash over you—Romero’s vocal delivery immediately pulling you in. “Love’s Not Gone” explodes with energy, fist-pumping riffs, and a chorus built for arenas. Then comes “Hope’s Last Stand”, an all-out melodic rock attack, packed with screaming guitars and razor-sharp precision.

The band tackles the Ozzy classic “Shot In The Dark” with respect and flair, staying faithful while adding their own punch. “Without You” is a soaring power ballad that hits deep with its emotional layers and shimmering production. Title track “Restless Fight” is a heavy-hitting dose of modern power metal magic, rich in drama and power.

“Running To You” stomps in with thundering drums, crunchy guitars, and a chorus that soars. “Against The Storm” stands tall with pulsing rhythms and scorching leads, while “In & Out” is one of those catchy tunes that embeds itself in your imagination. The album’s momentum never lets up as “Dreams Aren’t Over” comes crashing in—a fist-pumping melodic rock banger designed to lift spirits and raise fists. Finally, “Take It All” closes the ride with vibrant solos and explosive emotion.

What makes ‘Restless Fight’ so powerful is its duality—it honors the past with melodic finesse while pushing forward with heavier guitars, sharper arrangements, and Romero’s commanding presence. Guitarist Aldo Lonobile brings arena-ready fire, while the rhythm section grounds every track with force and finesse.

This album proves SUNSTORM isn’t just a project—it’s a full-force band with something to say and the musical firepower to back it up.
