CARRION the Death Metal ensemble founded by Mathieu Vander Vennet, Sven Van Severen, and Jan Van den Berghe in Hansbeke, Belgium, in 2008, began as a group of teenagers covering songs while gradually forging their unique sound. In 2012, they launched their debut album ‘Revelations,’ a diverse blend of subgenres including death, thrash, core, and groove.

Following ‘Revelations,’ CARRION shifted gears, dedicating themselves to becoming a full-fledged Death Metal act. Their commitment bore fruit with the release of ‘Time To Suffer‘ under the Danish label Mighty Music in 2018, accompanied by music videos for “In The End, There Is Only Death…” and “Defiled Sanity.”
CARRION has since left a mark on the metal scene with unforgettable performances at major festivals such as Wacken 2016, MetalDays 2017 and 2018, Antwerp Metal Fest, and supporting roles for acts like Suffocation, Memoriam, Blood Red Throne, Necrot, and Cannabis Corpse. Known for their dynamic live shows featuring powerful riffs, precise drumming, and a variety of extreme vocal styles, CARRION is now gearing up for the release of their third album, ‘Morbid Nailgun Necropsy.’ With great pride in their upcoming work, CARRION is confident this album will elevate the band to new heights.
