Starting tonight, Thursday, October 8, the CULTURE COLLIDE music festival returns to Los Angeles for its sixth year and will take place at multiple venues including: Echoplex, Taix + The Champagne Room, The Church, The Echo and Lot 1 Café. LADYHAWKE, ASH, THE JUAN MACLEAN and NICK DIAMONDS will headline the festival, with 40-plus international bands from all around the world lighting up the stages. In addition to the artists performing at the music festival, on Friday, October 9 at Taix (1911 Sunset Blvd. L.A., CA 90026), CULTURE COLLIDE’s annual Creative Summit Panel hosted The Guardian will feature trends in music, from around the world. The three artist-and industry-led panels will feature: 1:00 PM Fireside Chat ‘The State Of Music” with musicians: Tim Wheeler (ASH), Robert Schwartzman (ROONEY), and Jesse Nolan (CAUGHT A GHOST), at 2:00 PM Epic Proportions Presents: “Smart Touring”: Gabe Kubanda (Epic Proportions Touring) Peter Sotos (Epic Proportions Touring) and 25 + year music business veteran Tom Sturges (President of Chrysalis, EVP Universal Music Publishing, etc.) and at 3:00 PM “Beers of the World” is a fun beer tasting panel with audience participation: Glenn Dickie (Sounds Australia), Bernie Cho (DFSB Kollective-Korea), Shay Perez (Director of Cultural Affairs-Israel), Vera Kuipers (Policy Officer Press & Cultural Department, The Netherlands) and Jean Zuber (Swiss Music Export) and moderator Alan Miller (Founder, Culture Collide and Travel With Purpose magazine).
Also on Friday (Oct. 9), CULTURE COLLIDE will host a night with Chinese indie rock artists at the Regent Theatre (448 South Main St. L.A., CA 90013). On Saturday, October 10, Culture Collide festival Los Angeles will host a massive international record fair in cooperation with Independent Label Market in the outdoor lot at Taix (1911 Sunset Blvd. L.A., CA 90026) from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The Culture Collide international record fair will feature over 20 record labels including 100% Silk, Anchor Eighty Four, Anticon, Burger, Cold Busted, Delicious Vinyl, Everloving, Friends of Friends, Hit City USA, IAMSOUND, Iheartcomix, Innovative Leisure, Last Gang Records, Ninja Tune, Not Not Fun, Now Again, Stones Throw, Saddle Creek, Sargent House, Light In The Attic and more. Also on Saturday (Oct 10), The Guardian will host a showcase of local LA-based bands, and the Aussie BBQ hosted by Sounds Australia–featuring Australian bands and solo acts–will return to Taix Champagne Room.

For the first time in the festival’s history, CULTURE COLLIDE wristbands for single days are now available via TicketFly for $20.00. The wristband will allow access into all CULTURE COLLIDE venues for that particular day. Music fans can also choose to purchase a $10.00 wristband that gives access to all CULTURE COLLIDE venues excluding the Echoplex.
