Multi-platinum alternative rock outfit THE VERVE PIPE will perform to a live audience for the first time since spring as they headline the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, NE on Saturday, October 17. It is a socially distanced event with strict COVID safety protocols enforced. The venue will be reduced to a limited capacity of 450 from 2,600 to comply with local regulations and provide a safe environment for the audience, staff and artists. Tickets are on sale now here.

THE VERVE PIPE–who garnered worldwide recognition for their radio hits “Photograph,” “Hero,” “Never Let You Down,” and their classic 1997 #1 single “The Freshmen” along with a feature of the song “Colorful” in the 2001 movie Rock Star–have managed to maintain their legacy over their 25+ year career by expanding their musical boundaries and honing in on their powerful live performances of which they are excited to return to.

“Like most of our peers, we’re creating, creating, creating; songs and videos mostly,” shares lead singer/principal songwriter Brian Vander Ark on how they’ve kept busy during quarantine. “It’s also been a good time to revisit our instruments, better ourselves as players for when the pandemic lifts. We’re tweaking the live show, finding new ways to make performances more interesting and impactful for an intimate audience. I for one am looking forward to the new challenges we have to face.”

THE VERVE PIPE‘s latest studio album, 2017’s Parachute, featured a refreshed lineup accompanying Vander Ark including Lou Musa (lead guitars), Randy Sly (keyboards, backing vocalist), Joel Ferguson (bass, backing vocals), Sam Briggs (drums, percussion) and Channing Lee (backing vocals). A new, yet-to-be-titled full-length album is planned for release in early 2021. Stay tuned for further details.
