Experimental hardcore/mathcore unit SUNFLO’ER today drops their new video for “All These Darlings And Now Me,” the title track of their upcoming new full-length, set for release September 2nd on Dark Trail Records.

Comments guitarist/vocalist Carter Jones, “‘All These Darlings And Now Me’ is our most sprawling composition to date and certainly the most aggressive tune on the record. The first half is as much odd-meter grind we could throw at a wall and make stick. There has been talk for a long time of trying to put out an EP of grindcore songs and these first riffs were made with that intention. Composing in this mode is a great time: Just think about tonality and meter as little as possible and focus only on stringing some riffs together that all build off each other.

“Since we were recording the album in Burlington with Urian, Ethan suggested reaching out to our friend Matty [Sager] who lives nearby and is a fantastic vocalist. Matty did the high vocal harmony at the end of the song. He nailed it in a take or two and it right away elevated the ending so much. It’s been a blast to now perform this song as a set closer, especially with all the vocal duties we’ve split between.”
