DALLAS, TX — Fairgoers will have more ways to stretch their budgets at the 2026 STATE FAIR OF TEXAS. The Fair has announced lower prices on most Midway rides and games along with Every Day Values, a new State Farm-presented program designed to make lower-cost food, fun, and souvenirs easier to find throughout the grounds.
The largest change comes on the Midway, where the Fair says most rides and games will see an average price reduction of about 17 percent. The adjustment follows the Fair’s earlier announcement of reduced admission and official parking prices for 2026.
Lower Midway Prices and Thrilling Tuesdays
Independent ride and game operators are lowering prices across much of the Midway this season. The Fair’s popular Thrilling Tuesdays promotion also returns, with most participating rides priced at four coupons and select kiddie rides at three coupons. The Thrillway and Texas Star Ferris Wheel are excluded from that Tuesday promotion.
Every Day Values Highlights Lower-Cost Fair Favorites
The new Every Day Values collection will identify food, beverages, rides, games, and merchandise positioned as lower-cost choices available throughout the Fair’s 24-day run.
Examples announced for 2026 include one-coupon bottled water at select locations, six-coupon cotton candy, a Fletcher’s Original Corny Dog for eight coupons, six-coupon rides on the historic Dentzel Carousel, and refillable drink options for both children and adults. Select Midway games will also guarantee a prize for every child who plays.
Beyond the highlighted items, the Fair says more than 200 food and beverage selections will be available for $10 or less. Participating concession stands will use an Every Day Value marker to help guests identify those choices while walking the grounds.
More Than 100 Attractions Included With Admission
The Fair is also emphasizing the amount of entertainment already included with a general admission ticket. More than 100 free daily attractions and experiences are planned, including live music across four stages, exhibits and museums, livestock and agriculture programming, the Texas Auto Show, Creative Arts activities, family entertainment, children’s programming, the nightly Starlight Parade, and Mattress Firm Illumination Sensation.
For music fans, that included entertainment is particularly significant. The 2026 Fair is scheduled to feature more than 100 live performances across its music stages, turning Fair Park into a multiweek live-music destination without a separate concert ticket for the Fair’s included shows.
The 2026 State Fair of Texas runs September 25 through October 18 at Fair Park in Dallas under the theme “Stars, Stripes, and Howdies.”
