Andrea Piersimoni is a class of 2002 artist who uses both his name and his music to tell his story. âI move between my name and my project because there is so much music in this person and so much person in this music.â Growing up in Isernia, he moved to Milan to open up his artistic horizons. After releasing his first two singles, âGiunglaâ and âPareti Biancheâ, he released his new project with the single âUDALLAREâ.
Speaking about his new music video, Andrea said, âRACCONTAMI was born as a flow of consciousness, light and flashes of pen on paper with all the stomach and words in the head. I wrote a song from four walls, I thought it in a tight room as if the space outside was becoming the projection of my head. I started by sticking words to the wall, then I spent ten minutes with my head on the table and another ten writing in a rush. RACCONTAMI is my free moment and the first act of a bigger journey than a room in Milan. I said it so often that even the walls know it, I repeated it to myself too many times and I spoke more to the wall than to the hearts. RACCONTAMI is a hand on distrust before speaking and an eye on trust to tell each other âfour thingsâ without losing curiosity. With this piece I tell about the border between distrust and trust, to trust and not to trust. In the song I ask for all the things I know I wonât get back (âtell me in a whisperâ, âspeak to me in the earâ, âspeak to me with knots in the chestâ). This song is all the words Iâve never said out loud.â
