New Music Review: STARVEYA ‘Let You In – Single’

[usr 9.0 text=true]

REVIEW – Hailing from Los Angeles, CA psychedelic indie rock group Starveya debut a new song titled “Let You In.” The song creates a hypnotizing ambience engulfing the listener on a transcending journey.  “Let You In” is a calming, mellow experience after a long day of dealing with the troubles in the world.

The song comes from their upcoming album called Abandon All Muses, due out in 2021. Just hearing this song is a welcome to see what else Starveya has in store for the remaining album.

Starveya is Aaron Martinez on Lead vocals and guitar, Desi Martinez on Guitar and backing vocals, and Kenny Lockwood on Drums. Additional musicians on “Let You In” include Mathew Meseberg on bass, Paul Reagor on synth and Juan Lopez on Organ. Coming together around the turn of the millennium, their music can be depicted as a union between the timeless studio recordings of the late 1960’s, and that of the grunge movement of the early 1990’s. The band represents both of these aspects in their 2013 EP Stellar Womb, coming together to broadcast its own original, contemporary sound.
