Margot Day was an integral part of the 80’s NYC underground music scene while fronting the legendary Goth band, The Plague with their album Naraka in 1987. A native New Yorker, Margot Day escaped temporarily to the jungle by the sea to conjure new witchy Metamorph songs.

Goth Pop band, Metamorph founded in 2016 by songstress and witch Margot Day after she had a miracle healing and felt summoned to make more music (see documentary on Youtube). Metamorph is a musical entry into other dimensions via song and dance, a vortex of melody and throbbing rhythms capable of awakening human potential.  Margot Day‘s multi-range vocals, mastery of the flute and catchy melodies are irresistible, creating a magical potion with “Alchemist” producer Erik Gustafason on these new Metamorph songs.

The single, “Ether” was released in 2017 followed by “The 4 Elements.” Then â€œSigils &  Spirals” dropped in 2020.
 
With well over 150,000 views on the  Metamorph YouTube, the channel features the music videos “Kiss of the Witch” “Daisy Logic” and the prophetic “Spelldance”.
 
The first single for the album Love in the Wreckage launched on Valentines Day, 2022. The second single “Dream Curve” was released on Beltane – May 1, 2022. Metamorph’s Kiss of the Witch album featuring the title track was released on September 21, 2022 on the fall equinox. Written by Margot Day and her daughter, Julifer Day. Produced by Cleopatra recording artist Erik Gustafson of Adoration Destroyed.
 
The single, “Witchlit” dropped March 7th, 2023 on the full moon – first single off the upcoming Metamorph album. Two Witches Are Better Than One â€“ This was followed by two remixes from SpankTheNun released on April 5th. 

The Spellbound Empress EP then dropped May, 1st, 2023.

Concerts and festivals with Metamorph (and their tiny mascot, Melody) have taken place in the US, Canada, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. Metamorph concerts are theatrical, magical, and danceable. Performances as a solo, duo, and a full band starring Margot Day have included Thaliana, Kurtis Knight, drummer, Joe Netzel & sword and belly dancer Rivqah Cas.
