Debut album Paralysis out today

Today (28th January 2022) alt-rock quartet Led By Lanterns release their long-awaited debut album Paralysis. Full to the brim with bouncy hooks, heavy riffs and soaring vocals, the 10-track release explores mental health in its many forms.

To celebrate the album release, Led By Lanterns have shared their new single ‘Satellite’. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/TVjZxXkJJMw

Lead vocalist Shaun Hill explains:

“This song is about over-thinking, something I really struggle with, and the depression it can cause. It references space, as in times like this it can often feel like you are a million miles away from reality. This song also touches on the pain it can cause to other people.”

Led By Lanterns have announced rescheduled dates for their UK headline tour, with support from TRIBELESS. Originally confirmed for January/February, the shows will now take place in April due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Rescheduled dates:

15.04.2022 – Bristol, Rough Trade
16.04.2022 – Birmingham, The Flapper
17.04.2022 – London, The Black Heart
19.04.2022 – Newcastle, Head Of Steam
20.04.2022 – Glasgow, Garage Attic
21.04.2022 – Manchester, Satan’s Hollow

Reminiscent of You Me At Six, Don Broco and Normandie, Paralysis welcomes some familiar faces, featuring collaborations with Softcult’s Mercedes Arn-Horn (‘Good Enough’), Trash Boat’s Tobi Duncan (‘Alive’) and WAVED (‘Six Feet Down’). The album is inspired by the situations that leave you feeling powerless, being trapped in your own body and mind, unable to reach out to those around you. Overthinking (‘Satellite’), managing self-expectations (‘Six Feet Down’) and accepting that relationships may grow apart (‘Disconnected’) are just some of the many relatable topics on Paralysis, that will connect with music fans across the globe.

A band who pride themselves on community, Led By Lanterns have created The Lanterns Alliance via Patreon, an online space where they can connect directly with their fans. Check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/ledbylanterns

As well as their Patreon, Led By Lanterns host weekly Twitch shows and have created a support network through Discord, which brings their fans together and offers them a safe space to connect and share.

In their short career, Led By Lanterns have toured alongside Normandie, Mallory Knox and WSTR. Their singles have clocked over one million streams on Spotify, championed on New Music Friday, Crash Course, All New Rock, New Blood, New Metal Tracks and The Pit playlists – an impressive feat for such a young, DIY band.
