New album Heaven In Hiding out on 26th November via Arising Empire
Swedish metalcore outfit Imminence are releasing their astonishing season finale, a nine-minute short film featuring their new single ‘Chasing Shadows’. The track, which premieres today at 5pm BST, is another taste of the band’s upcoming fourth album Heaven In Hiding, due for release on 26th November 2021 via Arising Empire.
The outstanding cinematic project challenges the entire concept of modern day music video performance.

“We proudly present: ‘Chasing Shadows’, a short film by Imminence & TRE Film.
“This Friday at 6pm (18.00) CEST (5pm BST), we invite you to the premiere of a music video concept, never seen by us before. ‘Chasing Shadows’ is a nine-minute short film, written and developed by Imminence and Pavel Trebukhin from TRE Film. This will be the very last music video of the Heaven In Hiding album cycle, the most ambitious and creative visual craft we have ever released and the grand ending of the story built up by the previous singles.
”We really wanted to challenge the concept of music videos and how they are done today. We just felt that this ending, this song and this album deserves so much more, to wrap up everything we wanted to say with this story.”
Fronted by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström and bass player Christian Höijer, Heaven In Hiding also includes the band’s previous singles, ‘Ghost’, ‘Heaven In Hiding’ and ‘Temptation’, their highest performing tracks to date.

Heaven In Hiding was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Sweden by award-winning producer Henrik Udd, who has worked on some of the most critically acclaimed albums with acts such as Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, At The Gates, and many more.
After the remarkably successful announcement of the band’s exclusive acoustic tour ‘Live In Concert Halls‘, Imminence were granted a placing in Eventim’s Official Charts as one of the fastest selling tours in Germany. The quintet recently announced their biggest European headline tour to date, taking place in 19 cities during February/March 2022.

Imminence were formed in the southernmost part of Sweden and have become one of the country’s most promising acts, with their diverse sound embracing everything from metalcore to acoustic. Founded by Berg and Barrett when they were teenagers, the band grew organically with a constantly expanding global fanbase, as well as touring actively through Europe following the release of their 2015 breakthrough single ‘The Sickness’.
Since the release of their 2019 album Turn The Light On, the five-piece have strongly established themselves in Europe as one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands in the metalcore scene.
