“Say Your Lies” tells the story of the mysterious phenomenon of sleep paralysis and the nightmare of a malevolent being that has been haunting people around the world in their sleep since the early 13th century. “Within six months, three friends told me about their experiences when they woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t move or speak,” frontman Frankie reveals. “They all saw a dark, diffuse, shadow-like character in their room and all felt like someone was sitting on their chest. If that’s not a good topic for a hard rock song, I don’t know what is!”
As you’d expect from DEAF RAT, the band has once again managed to fuse lyrics and sound into a gripping, pulsating high-energy rock track. The new DEAF RAT lyric video for “Say Your Lies” is now streaming here:
The band from Dalarna consists of members from various directions of the Swedish rock scene and builds a bridge between old school and modern hard rock with their strong sound; a lot of dirt and melody guaranteed!
