Billboard music awarding winning hip-hop artist, Silentó dazzles fans on High School Nation tour to support his debut album Fresh Outta High School. The 12-track project features stand out singles “Thinking About You,” “Wild,” and “Watch Me (Part 2).”
Since bursting onto the hip-hop scene with his global hit, “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” in 2015, rapper Silentó has blossomed into an international music sensation. The 20-year-old Atlanta, Georgia native has spent the past few weeks on the High School Nation Fall tour sponsored by Takis to promote his debut album Fresh Outta High School. When asked about the tour Silentó said, “I’m so excited to be on the road again. My music is for the kids and I want to spread as much positivity as possible.”
Fresh Outta High School draws inspiration from a wide-range of musical genres such as hip-hop, pop, dancehall, and electronic. Tracks like “Rumors,” “Numbers,” and “Loving You” all have heavy pop/electronic resonance. “Issa Vibe” and “Watch Me Part 2” are reminiscent to Silentó’s earlier sound.
His upbeat musical style and natural charisma invigorates high school students throughout the country. Silentó has rocked stages in cities like Chicago, Illinois and Gary, Indiana since beginning the tour in early October. The award-winning rap star will perform in eight more cities until November 16th.
Silentó proves that he’s more than a one-hit wonder with an exciting collection of new music and fresh dance maneuvers presented on the High School Nation tour. Popular hip-hop music publication XXL wrote, “After jumping into the game with such a big splash, Silentó has more success in sight.”
