The legendary Globe Theatre, which opened in 1913, has undergone a massive five-year restoration to the 27,000 square foot space. In the main hall, there is a top of the line Void Acoustics sound system with a state of the art lighting system and 114 LED ultra-high resolution LED video panelsA 450 capacity venue also inhabits the Globe Theater basement with top of the line lighting and Void Acoustics sound system, bringing the heart of the dance music to downtown Los Angeles. Aptly named The Underground, the basement will solely focus on the music and being present in the moment by requesting that fans forego cell phone use and request no photos or videos be taken during the event.

“In 1991, I dedicated my clubs in Paris, France to celebrate the electronic dance music movement, featuring some of today’s biggest DJs,” says The Globe owner Erik Choi. “When I came to Los Angeles in search of a venue that had infinite possibilities for clubs, concerts and special events, the Globe Theatre gave me the goose bumps.  Gary Richards and AMFAMFAMF share the same philosophy and vision of the Globe’s future, while honoring and respecting its past.”
Adds Gary Richards, AMFAMFAMF founder and President of LiveStyle, North AmericaI’ve had a long history producing events in Los Angeles, but never been part of a weekly.  The Globe is a unique venue in downtown and I could not be happier with this partnership.”
