The Italian melancholic doom death metal quintet TETHRA is proud to announce that its new album, entitled âWithered Heart Standingâ, will be released on December 6th via Meuse Music Records. Composed of 8 songs for over 48 minutes of duration, âWithered Heart Standingâ will easily enter the hearts of those loving Katatonia, Paradise Lost, and Swallow the Sun.

The band stated about âLiminalâ:
âEach of us needs, more than ever in these years, to detach ourselves from the world to find our inner balance and soothe the wounds opened by a widespread lack of empathy. Liminal describes this inner journey that leads to the awareness that, even if there is no remedy for this situation, we cannot live peacefully without first forgiving ourselves, a fundamental step towards the in-depth knowledge of our deepest self.â
On âWithered Heart Standingâ the lyrics are more intimate than ever, touching on very personal topics such as loss, the need for solitude and feelings of rejection, while the music has changed skin once again, becoming warmer and deeper to better tell the emotions that permeate these eight songs. Like a sonic needle that stitches the wounds of a bleeding heart.
