30 Seconds to Mars brought their Seasons tour to the Dos Equis Pavilion. They brought AFI, Poppy and Keeny Hoopla with them.
Sadly Kenny Hoopla became ill during his first song and his set was cut. Poppy didn’t allow photographers so I was not able to see her set. So here’s the 2 bands I was able to see and cover.
AFI went on and gave 110% from the start. AFI has never failed to impress me every single time they perform. Every band member is spot on. Lots of energy and passion. Davey sounds as great as ever. I highly recommend checking them out next time they’re in your area.
Next were the headliners for the evening. 30 Seconds to Mars. With the Leto brothers, Jared and Shannon. I have never seen them before and I am personally very happy I caught this show. One hell of a show. The crowd interaction was the most I’ve ever seen from a band. Bringing people on stage during certain songs throughout the night. Even brought a cute little dog up there. I have read that they even brought a kid up at another show and he played “The Kill” on guitar. Tons of pyro, tons of energy. Definitely up there for show of the year.
