The band comment: “Amidst writing and recording new material earlier this year, this cover came to be. As fans of Machine Head, we thought it would be a great opportunity to honour a band who have not only influenced us, but who have been at the forefront of the scene for many years.”
HERIOT are one of the UK’s most exciting, vicious, visceral new metal groups, having made their mark with the titanic singles ‘Dispirit‘, ‘Recreant‘ and ‘Cleansed Existence‘ and signing with Church Road Records.
HERIOT are a triumphant new group, fully-focused and with a razor-sharp edge. Now a fourpiece with the addition of guitarist/vocalist Debbie Gough, the group have already started to turn heads in the UK metal scene and beyond. Weaponising metallic sludge and hardcore with their terrifying singles, HERIOT have caught the attention of Rock Sound, Kerrang!, Revolver, and Knotfest, among many others. Elements of Nails, Knocked Loose, Code Orange, and Vein combine to create a new sound that is truly groundbreaking and fully worthy of the notice the band are achieving.
