DENVER, CO (August 1, 2021) – Colorado-based DeadRoom Comedy is excited to continue their Colorado summer comedy tour in Fort Collins at The Comedy Fort on August 15th. Fresh off the success of a 4-night run at Denver’s Fringe Festival, DeadRoom Comedy will be highlighting a series entitled “Dead Inside” – an ode to the ancient relationship between comedy and tragedy. “Dead Inside” recently won the audience choice award for Best Comedy Show at the Denver Fringe Festival 2021 as an innovative multi-media show that features stand-up comedy, video sketches, and more, all geared towards the question, “what makes us feel hollow inside and how can we make audiences laugh at it?” Showcasing four different acts, Elliot Weber, Jacob Jonas, Jeff Stonic, and Joshua Emerson, the comedians will express the feelings that come with trauma in their own unique way – providing the soil for new growth and new joy. “We want to make audiences laugh by talking about things that make us cry,” says DeadRoom founder Joshua Emerson. Life is hard, so the DeadRoom boys want to make you laugh about it, because whether you are laughing or crying, this too shall pass.
The Comedy Fort is the third show in a series of shows for DeadRoom Comedy who are kicking off a tour around Colorado. More dates and information to come soon.
