Tim Buono Brings Back Memories With Country Single “Polaroid”

NASHVILLE, TN (March 25, 2021) – Emerging country artist Tim Buono is gearing up to release his newest single “Polaroid” on April 9th under Asphalt Music Group. The song is an honest story from Buono that details finding a box of polaroids in his grandfather’s attic just after he died. Singing about the stories he sees portrayed in the old, grainy photos, Buono expresses how clarity comes to the surface when you are able to look back on memories after time has passed. Lyrics like “Then I realized that baby they were holdin’ grew up to be my dad and so much more” paint the scenes in vivid imagery as the listener recollects and discovers these faded memories alongside Buono. “It’s a song about time and stories being precious and held dear to many of us,” says Buono.

“Polaroid” showcases Buono’s acoustic-country stylings that are quickly gaining him notoriety in the Nashville music scene. With previous hits like “We Are” reaching over 106K Spotify streams, Buono is realizing his dream of sharing his stories through country music. Becoming an instant country music fan at the age of nine after hearing “Little Moments” by Brad Paisley, Buono has been pursuing music ever since. After experiencing a live concert featuring none other than Paisley himself, Buono began learning guitar by recreating favorite country songs. It wasn’t long before Buono’s skills evolved and he began writing his own lyrics and music -culminating in a catalog of original works that are anxiously waiting to be released. Having earned praise from country-music icons like Dierks Bentley (who shared one of Buono’s covers via Twitter), Buono is setting the stage to become one of Nashville’s next success stories.
