Debut EP, Human Crown, Out Now

Brooklyn-based metal band THE UNBROKEN has issued a bass playthrough for the track “Nothing Left to Sell” from their debut EP, Human Crown.

“‘Nothing Left to Sell’ is about giving all you have,” says vocalist/guitarist Chester. “You work 50-60 hours a week. You smile. You bend. But you got nothing left to sell! There isn’t anything left to give, especially for a cause you don’t own anything.”

Bassist Jeff, who is endorsed by KHDK Pedals and Chaos Guitars, details is his setup for the song: “I use an ESP LTD B-206SM bass strung with Ernie Ball 6 string long scale slinky strings, and my signature Chaos Guitars bass Isobel, strung with Ernie Ball Power slinky strings. For amplifiers, I use a Hartke LH500 Bass Head going through a Goliath 4×12 bass cabinet. For pedals I use a KHDK Abyss bass overdrive, a Keeley Bass Limiter, and a TC Electronic Polytune 2 Tuner pedal.”

THE UNBROKEN are rising out of the murk of the Brooklyn scene and taking the world by storm with the release of Human Crown. A band dedicated to punk rock ethics and a vicious modern metal sound, THE UNBROKEN goes for the throat they weave their influences, such as MetallicaPanteraand Slipknot, into a fresh new sound. Human Crown was co-produced by John Bender (Breaking Benjamin), mixed by Johan Meyer (Gojira) and mastered by Alan Douches (High On FireMastodon). The EP is available for purchase in digital and physical formats via the band’s website, as well as via Spotify, Amazon, Tidal, Apple Music and Deezer.
