REVIEW – The hard rock Italian duo THE STRADDLERZ debut their 9 track self titled album.
The first track “No Changes” get the ball rolling with soaring guitars and fierce lyrics right out of the gate. A fast paced good time sets the mood for The Straddlerz. The following track “Streets of Love” starts with flying drums and guitars to keep the pace moving along. “Addiction” slows things down a notch going through a turbulence of fast guitars, piercing drums, and powerful hooks. “Circle of Insanity” is a haunting gem with a calm start before diving headfirst to singer Linda Filippin’s strong voice and guitars to complement her sound.
“Don’t’ Go Away” breaks away from the fast paced setting to a calm, more quiet setting with Linda making the song hers and not letting it get away. “Without You” brings back the energetic, frantic force of the album with raw vocals and heavy metal elements. The album is successful in showcasing Linda’s raw voice with Michael Reyna working in tandem on the guitars. For those looking for a solid rock album, nobody can go wrong giving this album a spin.
