REVIEW – Opening with “Hellfire”, the band wastes no time setting the mood. It’s a high-octane anthem full of chants, crunchy guitars, and a pounding rhythm section that makes you want to fist pump with your favorite skeleton crew. Next, “I Give You The Creeps” leans into a punk-rock gallop with a sinister hook that’s as fun as it is ferocious—showing off their Misfits influence without becoming a clone.

“A Ghost From the ‘80s” brings retro synth energy wrapped in dark glam—the kind of track you’d expect to hear echoing through the halls of an abandoned haunted arcade. “Hier Sein” drops the tempo and lets the band show off their darker gothic side, layering echo-drenched vocals over brooding guitars. Then comes “I Need Blood”, a ripping number that invites chaos—pure horror punk madness that doesn’t let up.

The album’s title track “Alienated” stands out as one of the catchiest in the band’s catalog—a sticky chorus, tight riffs, and just enough melancholy to pull at your blackened heartstrings. “In The End” slows things down and lets the band flex some emotional range, crafting a moody, melodic moment of introspection.

“Horror Movie Monster” is pure campy delight—think Rocky Horror meets Ramones—while “The Witch From Outer Space” pushes the band into sci-fi horror territory with a spacey, weird vibe that completely works. “Don’t Be Afraid of the Night” is a foot-stomping, crowd-pleasing anthem that’s sure to get live audiences shouting along in unison.

As we near the finale, “Batcave” hits with thundering bass, gothic vocals, and an old-school deathrock atmosphere—paying tribute to the subculture that birthed much of this sound. “I Know Your Name” throws it into high gear again, a highway rocker made for moonlit rides. Finally, “Die Human Die” closes the record with venom and vigor, bringing the horror back full circle with a chant-worthy closer that oozes with undead swagger.

With ‘Alienated’, THE OTHER prove once again that they’re not just still relevant—they’re leading the horror punk undead parade. This album is catchy, cinematic, and dripping with atmosphere, making it a perfect addition to any goth-punk collection.
