REVIEW – Having both performed a multitude of styles in several heavy bands, Killer V and Rob The Ripper (who are married) wanted to go back to a genre that’s near to their hearts, but also create music that is particularly crafted for two singers. Composed for dual vocal interaction from a male / female viewpoint, their performance demonstrates a genuine and entertaining aspect of them as individuals, but also confronts broader societal concerns in the world today. Accompanied by guitarist Breakdown Bran (Bran Panic), drummer The Trve Cody Taylor (Cody Taylor) and bassist Spot-On Sam/SOS (Samuel Bedard), SCIKSENSE would be created out of the group’s desire to express their positive and joyful message with the world. SICKSENSE pulls creative influence from numerous artists and their influences ring through in their first EP, ‘Kings Today’.

The title track of SICKSENSE’s debut EP, “Kings Today,” serves as the album’s introduction. The song displays powerful music with strong voices and thumping beats. The second track “Forgotten Days” will get you lost in the back alley of a vast metropolis. Get ready to mosh till your feet hurt from the energy of “Make Believe.” The fourth tune “Soul Snatcher” includes crunchy guitars, hammering percussion, booming bass and forceful vocals. SICKSENSE concludes ‘KINGS TODAY’ with “Heart Of Stone” that combines hammering percussion, thumping bass, throbbing tones and spitting vocals.
