REVIEW – Progressive metalcore group from central New Jersey, Dig Two Graves, comes out with a new album called Deathwish. Deathwish contains six new songs filled with hurt and loss.

The first song titled “As Above” starts off with a space era theme segueing into a new save sound. The following song”Track 2” is more rock infused progressive metal continuing the underlying space them the group set out for the album. “Wick” is more transcending in its tone development with quieted moments of reflection. The next song “Deathwish” incorporates the space like sound with defying guitars testing the listener. “Iron Lungs and Paper Hearts” starts off on slow tempo dreamy sound before diving into the progressive metal sound the band is known for. The dream like sound continues throughout the song making the listener feel like they are in space. The final song “So Below” closes out the album tying together the piece Dig Two Graves wanted to say and put out for the fans. Their labor and love shows throughout their new album.

Since their beginning in 2017. Dig Two Graves has worked diligently to separate themselves from the crowded genre. They combine a variety of music styles for the listener to hear a new layered sound that does not sound like the other bands in progressive metal.
