Void is the new lyrics video from US progressive metal group Mindless Hope. The track is taken from their forthcoming album, the Sliptrick Records release Mental Truancy. Void takes on the difficult subject of bullying and the potential tragic effects it can have on a young mind.
The band stated; “Void is a dark melodic track that delves into the psyche of wanting to end it all and never being able to succeed or follow through. The song was written 20 years ago and is finally seeing the light of day for the first time since 2006. Void is a little bit of a departure from the traditional sound of Mindless Hope. Matt and Mark really wanted to do this track justice because it’s one of their favourites from when they were in their previous band together in Arizona. We decided to do a lyrics video for this track because we felt the lyrics and vocals deserve to be the focal point of this song.”
