LIGHT NIGHTCLUB IN LAS VEGAS
AT MANDALAY BAY RESORT AND CASINO
CELEBRATES 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH NICKY ROMERO
LIGHT, the state-of-the-art nightclub by Cirque du Soleil and The Light Group at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, celebrated its 1-year anniversary last night (6/18) with an electrifying set by Nicky Romero.
There was much cause for celebration last night (6/18) as LIGHT turned one and kicked off EDC week with Nicky Romero. French DJ/Producer Arno Cost got the party started with a sizzling set of beats and remixes. Next, crossover dance music mastermind Nicky Romero took over the decks playing an explosive set of EDM favorites for the sold out crowd. Fans were also treated to a special surprise performance by singer Vassy, who hopped on the DJ booth and performed her song “Bad” as Romero spun the track. Artists in attendance for this anniversary celebration included Firebeatz, Afrojack, Sidney Samson and Stafford Brothers, who watched Romero‘s set from the VIP tables. Towards the end of the night, LIGHT‘s Cirque du Soleil aerialist flew through the air and presented a huge “LIGHT 1-year Anniversary” cake to Romero. Romeo congratulated LIGHT on the venues success and thanked everyone for an amazing year.
The party continues at LIGHT this week with shows by the legendary Carl Cox (6/19), Alesso and Sandro Silva (6/20), and Axwell^Ingrosso (6/21).
