Los Angeles-based metal band KRONOWSKI has released the new EP “Do I Need A Reason” today December 5th. The EP showcases a new growth for the band, both musically and lyrically, where they tried to push themselves to throw rules aside and just make whatever they want. People will find everything from thrash metal and breakdowns to jamband-esque solos and piano ballads within the EP’s five tracks.

The video, directed by Vicente Cordero, is set in the middle of a group therapy session. The title of the song reminds us how something that should be normal to say (“I’m not well”) can generate conflicts nowadays. In a society where individualism reigns, everyone has the right to say how they are, but without taking this right away from other people. It is for this reason, in fact, that the therapy session turns into a verbal brawl, where everyone tries to make themselves prevail over the others. Before the finale, in which people begin to listen to each other and then find harmony.
The new EP “Do I Need A Reason” is an anthem for our bad days. Mixing the aggression of thrash and metalcore with the ear worm melodies of pop and power metal, it is a powerhouse of an experience. Lyrically, the title-track asks “Do I need a reason to not be ok?”, as songwriter Adam Kronowski grapples with the emotions we all struggle to keep control of in our daily lives. Coupled with the previous singles “The Weight”, “Tides”, “Boring”, and “Shades of Grey”, the EP journeys from aggressive breakdowns to pensive ballads and everything in between, providing a truly modern metal experience.
KRONOWSKI is the metal/rock creation of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Adam Kronowski. Bursting on to the scene with the single “The Pyre”, he has amassed millions of streams, appeared on playlists like Spotify’s “All New Metal” and “New Blood”, and even charted on the official Spotify charts. Handling all writing, performance, and production himself, Adam pulls from a wide variety of heavy metal and rock influences, and even outside genres like country and reggaeton, to craft heavy metal in a new powerful direction.
Teaming up with metal veterans like Dennis Ward (Angra, Helloween) and Matias Kupiainen (Stratovarius) on mixing duties and Mika Jussila (Children of Bodom, Nightwish) and Ted Jensen (Lamb of God, Green Day) on mastering, Kronowski’s releases stand in the top ranks of metal releases today on every level.
