HiBnb Expands Operations Beyond Canadian Borders, Launches Across America and Sets Sights on World Tourist Destinations

HiBnb, the premier Canadian-based destination for cannabis-related rentals is growing like premium weed. In a major move, the company will begin its U.S. activities in Los Angeles and San Francisco with a targeted marketing campaign that will be announced by HiBnb president and founder Elizabeth Becker at the Marijuana Business Conference and Cannabis Expo (MJBizCon) in Las Vegas this October 2021. Soon after, HiBnb will spread through other major cities, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver and Phoenix. Global domination will follow — seriously!

“Our site has the capacity to accept a listing from anywhere in the world,” Becker says. “This means that, technically, all of the countries that are legalized for medical use can list CBD retreats and cannabis-friendly accommodations. Our doors are open so that the general public can find wellness retreats that are popping up all over the place if they want to travel internationally.”

Currently, medically legal countries include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. There will surely be more to come and whenever new territories recognize the many benefits of cannabis, HiBnb will be there to help provide accommodations and activities for tourists.

Widely credited for “putting Canada on the cannabis tourism map,” HiBnb has created a community of creative, fun-loving, and like-minded individuals that strive to provide a connection between accommodation hosts and guests. HiBnb hosts offer cannabis-friendly hotels and other places to stay as well as cannabis-related events, activities and adventures that offer users a rewarding hassle-free experience through a user-friendly Internet platform.

HiBnb’s accommodations and events listing platform is currently accessible in all states that have legalized cannabis for recreational use. Unlike other travel companies that have taken a hush-hush,-don’t-ask-don’t-tell approach regarding cannabis, HiBnb is proud to help guests explore the medicinal and recreational uses of cannabis.

“It’s important that we are 100 percent compliant,” Becker says. “And that’s tough to do across the board since every region, state, province, and country has its own rules. But in the end, HiBnb is not plant touching. We don’t buy or sell any cannabis, nor do we deal with any cannabis sales on our site. We’re bringing together a community.”

“We used to slip ‘420-friendly’ into our Airbnb listings, but now that HiBnb is open we can be more transparent,” says one accommodation host who has turned to HiBnb as her go-to accommodation platform and has found that her cannabis-using guests are more respectful than many of her other visitors. “All of the guests who rent the space are always friendly, neat and responsible,” she says. “They always clean up after themselves.”

HiBnb wants its guests to thoroughly enjoy their stay, but not at the expense of safety, responsibility, and local and federal laws. That’s why all HiBnb guests are verified and screened and the hosts are protected for any property damage (up to $1 million) that occurs during a stay.

“Fortunately, that’s never been a problem because the guests on our site take responsibility for their actions,” says Becker, stressing that HiBnb caters to intelligent, progressive, and professional clients that are aware of and interested in the medicinal, recreational, and spiritual uses of cannabis. “We want to help break the stigma against cannabis and the stereotype people have that the cannabis consumer is young, irresponsible and disrespectful.” Becker says. “That’s just not the way it is. The majority of people who use cannabis use it for health reason; anxiety, sleeplessness, and depression. At the dispensary around the corner from me more than 50 percent of customers are over 40 years old, and half of those are over 50.”
