Blueprint For Self Destruction, the lethal new EP by San Jose, California-based hardcore outfit HANDS OF GOD, is out now on all digital platforms and 12” vinyl through Flatspot Records.
HANDS OF GOD’s Blueprint For Self Destruction delivers six new tracks. Smoldering riffage fuels the mid-paced drive of the band’s sound, sporadic upbeat runs and crushing mega-breakdowns entering each song’s realm. Energetic gang-chant vocals arise amidst a salvo of vocalized outcries, highlighting a variety of socio-political topics. Recorded and mixed at The Pit in Van Nuys by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues) mastered by Bill Henderson, the EP is completed with artwork and design by Dom Pabon.
Following its initial digital release, the vinyl edition of Blueprint For Self Destruction now sees release through Flatspot as a one-sided 12” EP with a silkscreened B-side pressed in several color variants; 300 on black vinyl, 100 on blue vinyl, and 100 on yellow vinyl as a RevHQ mailorder exclusive.

Formed in 2016, HANDS OF GOD draws members of a wide array of acts from across the region together, including former players in Bad Times Crew, current members of Vamachara, Gulch, Drain, Lead Dreams, and more. Rising from their collective surroundings and experiences, the members coalesce their talents in this outfit, delivering a pure hardcore band with a metallic outer shell.
HANDS OF GOD delivers a call to action that if you turn a blind eye to the negativity in the world you are only lying to yourself, motivating listeners to live to stand up for their convictions and crush anything in that path. Influenced by the likes of Stigmata, All Out War, Dying Fetus, Merauder, Sepultura, and other brutal metal/hardcore outfits, the band has self-released a demo and several singles preceding the arrival of their official debut, Blueprint For Self Destruction.
