Ahead of their headlining set at ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED this Saturday, September 5, ABOVE & BEYOND are pleased to release a new music video for their official ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED anthem “Fly To New York,” along with a new club mix produced in collaboration with rising Anjunabeats star Jason Ross. The video which celebrates the romance of New York City–is now available worldwide.       In addition to the Above & Beyond vs. Jason Ross Club Mix, which is out this Friday, September 4, remixes from Tom Middleton and Aero Chord will be released on September 16.

Written with their long-time collaborator Zoë Johnston, Fly To New York” is a dream speaking: a journey through the loss of love, and the dichotomy between reality and the dream of what could have been.   Zoë explains, “There’s a knowing feeling that this is obviously a work of fiction and will never come true–however the dream is so beautiful and inviting that inevitably there’s a sadness about these two ‘realities’ existing side by side.”

In other festival news, ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED—which is taking place September 4-6 at Randall’s Island Park in NYC–ups the ante with the announcement of their official afterparties. In a flash, the highly anticipated Labor Day Weekend in the heart of New York City and electronic music culture has finally arrived, kicking off Thursday night’s pre-party (September 3) at LAVO with none other than the esteemed Pierce Fulton.

The party only picks up momentum on the first eve of the festival, as Friday, September 4 racks up an impressive lineup, hosting after parties with an array of legendary performers at Pacha (3lau, Prince Fox, Riggi & Piros, Bee’s Kness, Lestat), Output (The Martinez Brothers, Justin Jay, Shahar), Webster Hall (Mija), Panther Room and Marquee (Don Diablo).

With dark undertones as the theme–whether techno, trance, or raunchy house–Saturday night brings together an even more notable collective, as Claude Vonstroke, Kolsch (DJ Set), and Nikola Baytala headline at Output, Markus Schulz, Nifra, and Mike Saint-Jules takeover Pacha, and a special guest at Webster Hall, all take the NYC stage in their respective clubs.

Last but definitely not least, Sunday, September 6 rounds out the weekend straight into the wee hours of Monday morning with happy, tropical sounds at Pacha (Robin Schulz, Sam Feldt, Steve Powers), sexy, deep house at Output (Hot Since 82, Exacta, George Vala), and b2b goodness at the Panther Room–the perfect combination with only memories of the epic weekend you’ve just had, behind you.

Effortlessly, ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED curates a perfectly articulated lineup of performers in the best clubs NYC has to offer–no matter what type of electronic music sub-genre might be preferred.
