Itâs the title track from his 2024 sophomore album, More Days Behind, produced by Bill McDermott (George Strait, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley) in Nashville.Â
In an exclusive music video premiere today from Taste of Country [click to read/watch], PayCheck chatted with TOCâs Sterling Whitaker about his life, career and Father, Johnny PayCheck. âThis song just really hit home,â PayCheck said. âIt was me reflecting on how much I have done this far in life and what the remaining future holds for me. I think we all at some point have to stop, breath, look around and decide what matters. For me it is my wife and kids.â Â
The video was shot by Victor Bonacore and Directed and Edited by PayCheck himself, and filmed throughout his family’s lavender farm in Virginia.
âI have done a lot for others with a life of service in the Army, and will continue to,â PayCheck acknowledged. âBut Iâm also stepping back a little more to make sure I donât miss out on the things that matter most. My family, and music is what keeps me busy now.”
