gnash released The Art of Letting Go on March 24, 2023. The 12-song album continued the Los Angeles singer-songwriter’s confessional style, pairing intimate writing with airy, guitar-led alternative-pop production.
The record followed earlier full-length releases us and we, while pushing gnash’s songwriting further into themes of change, vulnerability, acceptance and moving forward.
The album also extended a catalog that had already reached a wide audience through songs including “i hate u, i love u,” while showing a more mature and reflective side of the artist’s work.
