SHRINKWRAP KILLERS will unleash their Feed The Clones Pt. 2 full-length on June 13th via Carbonized Records!

A demented form of lo-fi new wave synth punk emerged from the underbelly of Oakland, California in 2018. A solo project brought to you by Greg Wilkinson, best known for two facets in the music world; the first being his recording studio, Earhammer, which has worked with bands like Necrot, High On Fire, Autopsy, Annihilation Time, Iron Lung, Undergang, Asunder, and hundreds of others for the past twenty-one years. The second being his own bands, which currently consists of Autopsy, Deathgrave, Brainoil, Static Abyss, Leather Glove, and a trail of other heavy bands over three decades.

SHRINKWRAP KILLERS however reflects very little of this list. Being a longtime fan of new wave, ‘70s/’80s Punk, film scores, sci-fi, horror, films, and comics, Wilkinson decided it was time to create a band capable of encompassing all these concepts into a consistent outlet. An attempt was made to create some twisted new wave/pop tunes in 2018 which ultimately kept pouring out. SHRINKWRAP KILLERS came to mind decades ago, influenced by the film, Bad Boy Bubby, where the protagonist had a short stint playing new wave music while wearing shrink wrap.

Gaining attention upon his first release in 2019, SHRINKWRAP KILLERS wasted no time in filling out a discography which includes three LPs and two 7” EPs.

Specifically, for Feed The Clones Pt. 2 – a follow up to SHRINKWRAP KILLERS’ third album, Feed The Clones Pt. 1, on Iron Lung Records – most tracks were based off a vocal melody and basic lyrics. The music was rapidly written to accompany these concepts and tracked from front to back. The lyrics would then be completed, and verses were created to fill out the song. The first of this series of LPs was based off an inverted process where the lyrics were composed after the music was finished.

In advance of the release of Feed The Clones Pt. 2, SHRINKWRAP KILLERS presents a video for “3D Printing Humans” HERE. Stream the track HERE.

All songs on Feed The Clones Pt. 2 were written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studio in Oakland, California between January 2023 and October 2024 with front cover, back cover, and additional illustrations by Santos.
