REVIEW – Phoenix, Arizona’s BURIED is carving their own brutal path in the metal underground with Infect & Replicate, their self-released debut set for March 12th, 2025. From the opening moments of “Haunted”, the band establishes a crushing presence—thick, downtuned riffs coil around a suffocating atmosphere while Rosputni’s tortured vocals weave a tale of despair and defiance. “Loving You” leans into doom-laden melodies, evoking echoes of Acid Bath’s eerie storytelling mixed with the sheer ferocity of Cannibal Corpse. “Tallies” injects thrash-fueled aggression into the mix, its shifting time signatures and breakneck drumming keeping listeners on edge.
