Ironmaster was formed in Nyhammar, Sweden in April 2020 by Jonas Kjellgren (guitars), a bunch of songs were written, and soon after Jonas teamed up with Janne Jaloma (Drums) and Robert Karlsson (Vocals).
An album was recorded and mixed at Blacklounge Studios during the summer of that very same year.
The band set out to record an album as crushingly fast and intense as they could manage, and then some…
The style of the debut album ‘Thy Ancient Fire’ is like a mix of Swedish early 90’s Death Metal and the
Florida Death Metal sound from the same era, there’s also a healthy dose of Thrash Metal in there.
