AUGUSTA, Ga. – Two inaugural music events – KidsFest and CountryFest – are slated to make their debut on Friday, August 27 and Saturday, August 28 at Augusta Commons in downtown Augusta, Georgia, marking a return of live music back to the region since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
KidsFest on Friday, August 27 brings a series of rising teenage music stars, headlined by high-energy pop rock trio Hello Sister from Orlando, who recently dazzled audiences on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Plus, pop singer-songwriters and former AGT contestants Ashely Marina and Jacob Velazquez are set to take the stage along with rising country music singer-songwriter Elle Townley from Austin, Texas.
CountryFest on Saturday, August 28 will bring varying interpretations of country music center stage, headlined by native Georgian country rapper Demun Jones. Opening will be an impressive set of regional country music up-and-comers like North Carolina’s Paige King Johnson, Alabama’s Cameron DuBois, and Florida’s Southbound 75, IMAJ and the Jack Michael Band.
