Earlier this week (Tuesday, November 29) world-renowned producer, DJ, entertainer and entrepreneur STEVE AOKI celebrated his 39th birthday and 20th anniversary of his Dim Mak record label by reviving legendary LA clubnight Dim Mak Tuesdays. The event–held at Echoplex on the east side of Los Angeles-featured performances by label mates and friends ZEDD, Krewella, Bloody Beetroots and Borgore, former Dim Mak Tuesdays resident DJs Them Jeans and Dan Oh, and AOKI himself who was joined by Uffie and Kid Ink during his set. Other party attendees included 2 Chains, aple.de.ap (Black Eyed Peas), Tara Reid, Too $hort, Mickey Avalon, Ookay, Chelsea Tyler (Kaneholler) and The Ceremonies.
From 2003-2014, Dim Mak held the weekly Dim Mak Tuesdays event at Dim Mak Studios (previously known as Cinespace) in Hollywood, CA. The weekly party founded by AOKI became the mecca for LA nightlife where some of the biggest names in music today did some of their first shows including Lady Gaga, Justice, Diplo, Die Antwoord, Kid Kudi and many more.
