Celine Dion brought her Courage Tour to the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD. The Courage Tour begins her first major tour in the past decade.
The music superstar icon sold out the Royal Farms Arena. Celine Dion no doubt has one of the most powerful voices in the industry. She entered the stage from a riser with “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” echoing through the arena. Dion was wearing a red sequin dress with a thigh cut that showed off her muscular physique. She had her fans on their feet, interacting with them.
Celine’s Courage Tour had many wardrobe changes through the 2-hour set. She performed songs from her past albums to her newest album, out now, titled “Courage.” Dion also did a few cover songs, like Patti LaBelle’s, “If You Ask Me To,” and Alan Menken’s song, “Beauty and the Beast.”
Let’s get back to the wardrobe changes. She opened the show in that fiery red sequin red dress. The next look was a tuxedo style pants suit with puffy style sleeves, that after a few songs turned into a sleeveless black lace long dress that was breathtaking. During her set she encouraged her fans to stay hydrated since her show was sold out and even though it was a chilly February night, it felt like 100 degrees inside and her fans loved it.
Last, but not least, I would say was one of best encores I have seen, when she performed “My Heart Will Go On.” Her final wardrobe change was a corset style long white elegant dress. Toward the end of the song, they used dozens of little drones with little blue lights to represent stars. It was very enchanting. During her encore and last song of night, she did what would be my favorite, and one of the greatest hits of the late great John Lennon. She performed her version of “Imagine.” This song was very well done and so were her encouraging words to love one another.
