Baltimore’s biggest and best rock station brought the first ever JSS-Tival to MECU Pavilion, hosted by Morning Show greats DJs Justin, Scott and Spiegel. The headliners of the show were The Struts, with opening acts The Glorious Sons and JJ Wilde.
Kicking off the JSS-Tival was up and comer from Canada, JJ Wilde. The singer-songwriter has a very impactful sound and style of music. Wilde and her band were a great start to the show, and she has a very impressive stage performance.
Up next was another band from the great white north of Canada, The Glorious Sons. The guys from The Glorious Sons put on one Hell of a grunge rock style show that kept the crowd rocking and pumped up for headliners.
The Struts, the rock band from the UK, the hit the stage with 100 percent octane energy. Lead singer Luke Spiller danced and bounced around with his Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger style. Spiller and the guys in band truly seemed happy and excited be playing for the MECU Crowd. They sang many of their hits from the albums “Everybody Wants” and “Young & Dangerous,” and the classic hit, “Dancing in the Streets.”
