Residual Self is proud to present the music video for Cannibal Candy featuring the lovely Lyra Skye (who can also be heard moaning on the song Magdalene’s Whore House). The track is taken from their recent release, RESEED, which was released via Sliptrick Records at the end of 2024.

The video flashes between black and white, and over to pink monochromatic tones. Cannibal Candy tells the story of a girl who had some pretty bad dates, so she decided to turn on them, and eat them instead! Watch as Lyra digs her sweet tooth into some candy, sucking and licking on lollipops and slime coated fingers. She teases Rex and preps him as her next meal! It’s time to eat!

Cannibal Candy’s ‘stripped down’ instrumentation and hard edged melody comes in banging with a catchy hook! Rex’s gruff vocals, paired with Josh’s guitar licks will leave you craving more!
