The track is taken from the band’s upcoming Dead Spirit (Part 2) EP, details of which will be unveiled soon.

The band comment: “Our new single, ‘CTRL,’ is an anthemic and propulsive track with lots of energy to it. We poured everything we had into crafting a song that is uplifting and bursting at the seams with layers of dynamic musicianship. This is truly the best representation of the sound of the band and it’s the perfect track to kick off the new EP’s campaign with. We are extremely proud of it and can’t wait to hear the reactions to it.”

Having become known as one of the most ferocious live bands in Sweden and beyond – playing alongside Meshuggah, Buried Tomorrow, Dead By April, Adept, Raised Fist, and many more – Kill The Kong’s new material promises to translate powerfully on the stage.

They continue: “The track was also written with the live crowd in mind and we know this one’s going to get people moving when we get back to live shows. We are a band built to be on stage and in front of the masses, which is what this is all about. The upcoming EP, Dead Spirit (Part 2), picks up where part one left off, but adds a lot of diversity to the song structures continuing to experiment with different melodies and sounds. We are always striving to keep things fresh and push ourselves as musicians and songwriters. Thanks for checking us out and hopefully see you all at a show in the near future.”

Fusing the rage of post hardcore, the groove of numetal and mammoth sized hooks, Kill The Kong promise to turn many heads with their new EP Dead Spirit (Part 2). Stay tuned for more news.
