The live performance in Normal, IL, 1988, kicks off with “Fortune and Fame,” a high-energy track that immediately gets the crowd rocking. Its infectious rhythm and powerful delivery set the tone for the rest of the album. “My Baby’s Gun” follows with a catchy tune that sticks in your head long after it’s over, driven by its memorable hooks and upbeat tempo.

“Touch and Go” showcases the band’s musicianship with powerful vocals, pounding drums, thumping bass, and screaming leads that draw you in. The track’s dynamic structure and intense energy make it a standout. “Back In Your Arms Again” is an invitation to grab your air guitars and rock till you drop, with its irresistible riffs and energetic vibe.

“Rebel” delivers emotionally charged vibes, with haunting lyrics and a powerful performance that sends shivers down your spine. “Cradles Rockin'” combines thumping bass, pounding drums, crunchy riffs, powerful vocals, and scorching leads, creating a potent mix that captures the essence of hard rock. “Falling In And Out Of Love” evokes nostalgia with its catchy melody and heartfelt lyrics, transporting you back to simpler times.

The demo tracks include “Chains,” featuring thundering drums, thumping bass, amazing vocals, and screaming guitars. The raw and unfiltered energy of the track showcases the band’s potential. “Heat The Fire” envelops you with powerful emotions, delivering a passionate and intense performance.

“Falling In And Out Of Love” in its demo form slowly pulls you into your imaginations and memories, highlighting the band’s ability to convey deep emotions through music. “Rebel” again delivers spine-tingling emotions, capturing the essence of the band’s sound. “Fortune and Fame” is a fist-pumping, head-banging anthem that makes you want to play air guitar and rock all night long. “It’s A Long Way” continues the high-energy journey, closing the album on a strong note.

Despite their initial success, the band dissolved in 1990 due to internal and external challenges. In 2013, Lorraine Lewis reformed FEMME FATALE with new members: Courtney Cox and Nita Strauss on guitars, Janis Tanaka on bass, Katt Scarlett on keyboards, and Rachael Rine and Athena on drums. In 2016, they signed with FnA Records to release “One More for the Road,” featuring recordings from 1989-1990. In January 2019, Lewis joined Vixen as their lead vocalist, succeeding Janet Gardner. Currently, FEMME FATALE is inactive.

“Femme Fatale – Demos + Live” is a testament to the band’s dynamic performances and their ability to create memorable tracks live and in the studio. This collection is a must-listen for hard rock fans and anyone looking to experience the electrifying essence of FEMME FATALE.
